Sicilia, terra mia
Hai scelto il sole per fidato amante che splendida
ti rende e ti feconda,
un mare azzurro ti possiede e abbraccia e viene
a carezzarti ogni sua onda.
Tutto un profumo son le tue contrade, di zagara
fa odore la campagna,
di erbe antiche, di ginestre in fiore, di
castagni e pinete la montagna.
Svetta fumante e fiero il tuo vulcano, nero di
lava e con la neve in cima,
fedele guardiano dei tesori che ti rendono
ricca oltre ogni stima.
Crocevia del mondo in ogni tempo,
hai conosciuto civilt� diverse,
che temprato hanno a fondo la tua gente e
le cui tracce mai si sono perse.
Popolo fiero, orgoglioso e forte, ma buono,
generoso ed ospitale,
incline all'amicizia ed al sorriso,custode
dell'onore senza eguale.
Cosa aggiunger potrei, Sicilia mia, per cantar
le tue lodi e celebrarti?
Solo augurare a chi non ti conosce di venire
al pi� presto ad ammirarti.

You have chosen the sun for trusted lover
how splendid it makes you and you fertile,
a blue sea possesses you and embraces
and it comes to caress you every
wave of his.
All one perfume son your regions,
of zagara makes odor the country,
of ancient grass,
of brooms in flower, of chestnut trees and
pinete the mountain.
Polls smoking and fierce your volcano, black
of it washes and with the snow in top,
faithful keeper of the treasures that
makes you rich over every respect.
Crossroad of the world in every time, has
known different civilization, that tempered
they have to fund your people and whose traces
are ever lost.
Fierce, proud and strong, but good, generous
and hospitable people, prone to the friendship
and the smile, custodian of the honor
without equal.
What aggiunger would I be able, my Sicily,
for cantar your praises and to celebrate you?
Only to wish to whom doesn't know you to come
as soon as possible to admire you.

Ed eccoti arrivato anche tu alla 100th!
Un cammino che io e te abbiamo fatto quasi insieme. Siamo partiti in ugual periodo e abbiamo raggiunto insieme questo traguardo.
In questi sei mesi ho potuto apprezzare meglio foto tue che gi� in parte conoscevo, ma che viste dopo il PP grazie agli aiuti che hai ricevuto, ho potuto apprezzare meglio.

Interessante questa cascina circondata da tanti fili dorati che mostrano l'arrivo dell'autunno sempre azzurro dalle nostre parti, come il cielo ci mostra.

Ottimo anche il contrasto tra i colori sfumanti del cielo e il terreno.

Bello l'albero sulla destra, che ne arricchisce la composizione.

Auguri per questa 100th, che come � stato detto a me, spero sia anche per te, non un punto di arrivo, ma il trampolino di lancio per delle foto sempre migliori.

Ciao Maurizio, The colours here are arresting, the earth tones made me think of Tuscany, where we plan to go mid 2009. The horizon is close to half way down, and it may be best to crop some sky away and leave one third sky rather than half. The yellows and blues appeal to me a lot. TFS. Murray.

hai scelto un'ottima immagine per celebrare il traguardo dei cento. Anche se in ritardo (dato che ero fuori) mi unisco al coro degli amici per farti i complimenti.
E' una composizione deliziosa col giallo dorato intenso del fieno che la fa da padrone e che contrasta col blu del cielo.
Le foto migliori sono quelle spesso pi� semplici, con pochi scelti elementi, come questa.
