Photographer's Note

A huge silver fox sculpture on the Talka lake shoreline in iauliai, which is pronounced in English similarly to 'showlay'. The town is more famous for the nearby Hill of Crosses to the north, which I will upload later. The padlocks in the fox's mouth are symbolic of the love for country which the statue represents and are similar to love locks common throughout Europe and China. The structure is 25 metres long and 6.5 metres high and was built in 2009. There is a time capsule in the fox's heart. iauliai is the 4th largest city in Lithuania, with 134,000 people.
