Photographer's Note

Cathedral in Vilnius captured on a rainy weekend, in the workshop a view inside where I could just see a marriage.

Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania with population of over 0.5 million. Many churches and other building built in 13th-19th centuries.

Hello Achim,
A very nice atmosphere for this fine composition. I like the point of view and the rain soaked pavements and road. The cars add a touch of dynamism but are not over obtrusive. Fine colours and clarity.

I like this image very much -- a rainy day in Vilnius, with the yellow awning in the foreground creating a dramatic highlight, while the Cathedral looms in the background. Well done, Achim for capturing this well composed shot.

I like the general grey tones and the yellow "spot" producing contrast and light in a certain way. You did it well despite the bad light. A good visual impact...

Hi Achim,

The cathedral of Vilnius has a special architecture with large colums in the foreground. The subject is well framed. The point of view leads our eyes towrads the sculpture with the cross. The photo is clear and precise. Have a nice day.
