Lonesome tree, a photo from Luxembourg, South

Photographer's Note

Walking my dog and still trying to master my new toy...the Sony A-900.
I took a picture of this lonesome tree silhouetted against the evening sky.
RAW format - ISO 640.

Promenant mon chien j'essaie de ma褾riser mon nouveau joujou, le Sony A-900. J'ai photographi� cet arbre solitaire qui se d彋achait contre ce ciel plein de couleurs.
Format RAW, ISO 640. J'ai coup� une masse sombre 跰auche de l'image.

Hallo John!
There are a lot of "lonesome trees" here on TE - but this one transmits this atmosphere very well. This silhouette in front of this wonderful evening sky simply is gorgeous. These feathery clouds work very well in combination with the filigrane branches of the tree. A photo "to dream into" ...

La silhouette de cet arbre solitaire s'accorde bien avec ce beau ciel avant le cr廧uscule.
Le 1/60 t'憝ite d'utiliser un tripode.
Une image tr鋊 appr嶰iable.

The colours of the sky are very beautiful. I think the silhouette of the tree makes this picture so nice because this tree isn't completely leafless. Not yet.

Bonjour John,
bien que je n'en photographie pas beaucoup, les arbres solitaires figurent parmis les sujets que je pr嶨鋨e, les beaux ciels aussi et on peut dire que cette photo r徼nit les deux.
Je suis doublement s嶮uite donc, et je pourrais dire triplement car j'adore la nature dans sa qui彋ude et l'appaisement qu'elle peut apporter.

Les arbres apportent oxyg鋝e, ombre, et beaut� au paysage. Forces de la nature ils s'幨鋦ent, centenaires, au-dessus de nos t皻es. Tu as su donner dans cette tr鋊 belle composition toute la beaut� majestueuse d'un arbre isol� sur un fond du plus bel effet.

Dag John,

Wat voor hond heeft u, ik ben verzot op honden.
John, u speelt hier schitterend met kleuren in de achtergrond, waardoor de donkere boom enorm werkt als contrast.
Met dergelijke ISO en geen ruis dirt is prachtig afgewerkt.

A very beautiful shot! The silhouette of the tree is nicely backlit by the colourful sky. The sky is really fantastic with the horizontal "stripes". A pleasure to view!

The silhouetted tree fills the frame nicely but leaves plenty of room to showcase the splendid sky. The tiny strip of land works perfectly. I love all the horizontal stripes and of course the lovely colours. It really deserves a tripod so you could lower the ISO so the sky would be clearer. I know how difficult it is to walk and carry a tripod.

Hello John,
beautiful tree but it really looks a little lonely. Anyway at the same time it feels free and lets its branches grow in whatever way they like!
Interesting colours of the sky which is a perfect background for the gorgeous tree!
I think trees deserve much attention and they could tell us a lot of various stories if only they could talk in a human language.. or if we could understand their language.
