Once upon a time ... there were blue skies with towering clouds above the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. Today there is snow and sleet and skies obscured by low water-loaden clouds. I can't even remember when I last saw the sun...

Il y avait. il y a longtemps, du soleil sur le Grand-Duch� de LUxembourg. Ces jours-ci il y a des nuages bas charg廥 d'eau... je ne me rapelle plus quand j'ai vu le soleil pour la derni鋨e fois.

Dag John,

Inderdaad de zon is een schaars product, ware het niet dat wij gisteren zondag een prachtige zonnige winterdag hebben gehad, werkelijk een echt wandel en fietsweer.
Ik vind dit altijd prachtig wanneer wetde bloemkool wolken zien opstijgen, aan de kust krijgt men zeer geregeld door de inversie.
Mooie landelijke foto, zonder veel tierlatijntjes.

Hello John,
I wonder why so few comments on this photo??...
I like it, it is very good. There are no bright colourful objects which may attract attention at once, but this is Nature, after all! this is a landscape which looks as natural as possible, and this is what I appreciate so much about it.

What is the most impressive in this photo is the clouds! these 3D clouds :) They seem to be the only source of more or less bright light for this rather dark scene - the landscape is getting ready for a little rain? :)
Your Note reminded me of a little dialogue from the book about Moomintrolls which is called "Moominland Midwinter":
"There used to be green grass here in the summer!!" - cried Moominttoll in despair.
"But now there is snow here", said Too-Ticky calmly.
