Photographer's Note
Luxembourgcity is a very intersting place to visit and a Unesco protected city. The city is build on different levels and the lowest part is calld The Grund.
The Grund is a quarter in central Luxembourg City and is located in the valley below the centre of Luxembourg City on the banks of the Alzette River and, in addition to being a picturesque area, is a popular nightlife precinct which can be accessed via a lift which descends through the cliff.
In 2001, the quarter had a population of 781 people.
Unfortunaly we had very 'grey' days so the photoconditions were not perfect. Still despite the white sky i like the warm colors of the buildings on this image.
At the center you see the Abbaye Neumünster. It is now a Cultural Center. For more information you can take a look at: http://luxembourg.arounder.com/cultural_center_abbaye/

Hello, Kik -
Despite the difficult light, you captured a really fine image here. Your POV from up high shows many interesting architectural features of this part of the city. The details are sharp, the colors of the trees and grass are warm and natural. Well done.

Hello
You are right, despite lack of colours, the light is quite nice. Fascinating perspective from the top. Great composition, architecture.
