Photographer's Note

You liked my yesterday picture, so now three more from the same place but in other direction. I like high cliffs, blue sea but first of all high flowers of agaves. As for nature, it is the most beautiful place on Malta. The landscape there is not very attractive, especially in late summer when the fields are burnt with sun, there is almost no green or flowers.

Agave is a genus of monocots. The plants are perennial, but each rosette flowers once and then dies. Some species are known by the name century plant.

Czesc Malgo! Piekny widok, wspanialy brzeg, czy to jest klif. No i sa ludzie, sa i sie ciesza widokiem, ktorym teraz i my sie cieszymy. Dopisala Ci pogoda. Pogoda sprzyja dobrym ludziom w podrozy. No chyba, ze akurat nie sprzyja. Pozdrawiam!

Very nice capture of this beautiful and calm scenery in Malta.
Very good pov and compo. Nice cloudy sky crowns the scenery perfectly.

Hello Malgo,
Excellent composition featuring this rugged wild landscape. The agave plants make an interesting frame, creating depth for the scene as a whole. I like the presence of the bathers down below who add scale. In the far distance we can see an oil platform, which seemed very prevalent on this part of the coast. Lots of interesting and well rendered textural detail.

The rocks are beautiful and the weather looks great. I like the atmosphere of fresh air and wide spaces. As expected I also like the inclusion of the people at the bottom.

Hello Malgo

For me this one is even better than the previous one. Superb depth & blue tones, but what makes it really good is the inclusion of the plants sticking into the frame and those little people below. Excellent piece of work, if you ask me.

This is another beautiful view of the limestones cliffs plunging into the blue sea . I like the clouds and teh agave in the Fg . Not so convinced by the branches on the right , but I suppose that it was not easy to frame differently ?

Quel bel endroit. Parfaitement mis en valeur par le choix du point de vue. Une tr鋊 belle luminosit� sur les rochers ainsi que sur la mer. Les personnes donnent une belle relation dimensionnelle.

Excellent Geology lesson can be introduce right there on the waterfront cliff, Malgo.
Layer upon layer as a great natural "sandwich"... fabulous sight and well in contrast to the blue sea.
Few people gave excellent scale to appreciate the whole.

tak: podobalo mi sie wczorajsze i podoba dzisiejsze zdjecie :) Tym bardziej ogladam z przyjemnoscia ze w tym zakatku akurat nie bylem. Ale mialas wspaniale swiatlo i kolory w tym miejscu. W zasadzie nie ma na tym zdjeciu nic szczegolnego ale kombinacja chmur i swiatlo czynia z tego uczte dla oczu. Swietnie to skomponowalas z horyzontem w centrum a innymi elementami swietnie rozlokowanymi. Ludzie pozwalaja wyobrazic sobie skale miejsca.

świat jest piękny, co za kolory, co za światło, jaka jaskrawość barw, szkoda tylko, że nie wycięłaś tych drzew, gałęzi u g鏎y, bo trochę psują efekt.

questa volta non sono d'accordo con la tua scelta, preferisco l'ultima foto, ha una panoramica maggiore ed � pi� bella la nuvola bianca in cielo.
Piccolo appunto, questa foto ha una leggera pendenza a sinistra, ma questo non � sicuramente un problema.

Hi Malgo,

An interesting note and, until I read your description of Agaves, I really wasn't aware of these plants. Then I remembered that I'd seen these big bushes with their tall flowers before - so I might just post a picture of some later!

This is a lovely photograph demonstrating the rocky coast of Malta, quite different to your images from Malta's towns and cities and demonstrating the rocky arid landscape and the deep blue of the Mediterranean.

Gorgeous light and colours, perfect exposure and stunning details and sharpness. And the people in the foreground add to this fine composition.

Hello Malgo

Another pretty coastal scene from Malta, with good sharpness and an excellent elevated vantage point. Hope you are not scared of heights. I am, only when 1 of these 3 conditions exist. The edge is cracked or crumbling, it's very windy, or the ledge is extremely narrow with no back up room. Sometimes I have experienced all 3 at once. The person at right adds scale. Tfs!
