Another perspective, a photo from Malta, South

Photographer's Note

The same place that on my last two posts but quite different perspective. This time the picture made from the plane. I always like the plce near the window. But usually it is on the wing - I have no good view, or the weather is cloudy, so very rarely I can identify what I see. But here I was successful. Do you see the road like big S? At the end of this on the left side there is small bay. It is the place from where the boats are going. There was a queue for boats, I just swam there. You can see tiny white dots. On the right side there are cliffs and one of them is Blue Grotto. Above it is the view point. The town is probably Zurrieq. One can see also the diagonal stripe - it is the airport. Quite on the left you can see the white object - it is the tent over Hagar Qim.

Not so sharp but still I hope it will be interesting, specially for those who were on MAlta.

Hello Malgo,
Always interesting to see from the air where you have been on the ground! I like the framing and the light and shadow contrasts. Lacks some sharpness, but it is always difficult taking pictures through windows and it is not a major issue here.

Doesn't make any maj顤 role that it's not too sharp but it's just beautiful !
Specialy the lonesome boat on her way makes your compo unique.

You finally got a great airplane seat with a clean window, never say you never get...
Wonderful view of the island coastline from aloft, excellent visibility, and marvelous blue sea in contrast.
The cave and coves looks majestically.

Hello Malgo,
Absolutely a better than average photo from an airplane. From this view the island looks as dry and sunburned as Cyprus. The colours are good and there seems to be less haze than in most similar photos. I never expect to take any good photos from the air, so if I have a choice I always sit by the aisle where I don't have to squeeze myself past my neighbors if I need to stretch my legs.

Hello Malgo,
Seeing this picture after your upload of the Blue Grotto, I thought that you really exaggerated in your enthusiasm to see the cave and the surrounding coastline from all possible sides. So enthousiast that you chartered an airplane to fly over the Maltese westcoast :)
You must have felt very excited during the take off when you recognized the places where you had been before.
I think that in the left upper corner we can see the other coastline of the island.
You were lucky that you were sitting at a window without scratches.

The rocky Maltese coastline is clearly visible from this aerial shot from a plane. Good sharpness and excellent framing and composition. The lonely and tiny yacht makes a great focal point. Tfs!

I was not in Malta, but I find your picture, as panorama view wonderful.
I have never done, a picture out of a airplane, this must are, very difficult.
You did very well with a fantastic sight on the coast.

the view is amazing, the blue of the sea is marvellous and, along with the shady landscape, creates a great natural frame, that allows us to focus on the sunny coast and its fascinating features. Hi Malgorzata,

The distance between the palne and the coast is giving depth to the compostion. The point of view is showing the details of the coastline. The light is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.
