Blue Hour Coast, a photo from Budva, South

Photographer's Note

A blue hour shot taken from Sveti Stefan looking north towards Becici Beach at right and Budva in the centre, 6 km away. Not so many shots from this town (35) so here's another. Montenegro is sandwiched between Bosnia and Albania.

Hello Chris,
I thought this was Kotor, where similar photos could probably be taken, maybe with fewer lights in the distance. You captured a great atmosphere in this very well exposed photo.

Hello Chris,

It's always good to see photographs from places that I have never visited. It's like taking a trip around the world, each morning!

The deep blue of the sky, and of the water, sets the mood here, with just a glimmer of the glow from the setting sun, above the hills. That is nicely balanced by the warm, artificial light, in the f/g.
There is a bright, electric-blue light in the b/g, radiating out like a searchlight, which draws us in, as the focal point.

Chris, the light was well managed during the blue hour. The resort and its buildings are illuminated. The lake is surrounded by hills, nice landscape photo. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hi Chris,
I have a satisfaction to have visited Croatia through Bosnia & Herzegovina and further to Montenegro, but I feel like a have barely scratched the surface of these very photogenic areas. I have stayed as well in Sveti Stefan for a couple of nights. Not long enough!
Great scenery here. I see the noise reached a high level on the hills in the distance but the effect is nevertheless very impressive,

Hi Chris,as you know i been there me too,but the night view is a great surprise,a late blue hour taken in a perfect way with a full view of Budva in background from Sveti Stefan,i like it! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
