Photographer's Note
This view is taken from another ship near Kotor, Montenegro and reflects the Gulf of Kotor (Fjord like) and much more. Ships like these visit often and are quick ways to reach this spot and wonderful ways to view the beauty of the winding bay (part of the Adriatic Sea) and the high mountains.
It is easy to see why tourists are attracted to the natural environment of the Gulf of Kotor and by the old town of Kotor itself. Passengers aid economic growth and help attract interesting vendor to the city. The city has an ancient wall surrounding it and yields views like this of the vast landscape/seascape here. This is a beautiful place with many charming and interesting things/places to see.
Thank you for viewing. Pease enjoy another good weekend. With Resects drt100 David

Hello David,
The light on the upper part of the picture is very beautiful creating pretty soft tones in the clouds.
I also like the contrast between the sunlit mountain slopes and those in the shade.
You took the picture on the right moment when the big ship started to cross the entrance of the bay.
Best regards, Paul

Hello David,
What an amazing landscape and the light illuminating the mountains in the distance is magical. It adds a wonderful contrast with the darker areas in the foreground as well. The large ships was another excellent addition to this horizontal composition.

David, wonderful postcard showing Kotor fjord. The town is nestled between the sea and the bare hills in the bg. Good inclusion of a huge cruise ship. Perfect sharpness

Hello David,
I think the ship is rather too large, but it no doubt makes quite an impression in this environment. It's just that the very pretty town is being totally dwarfed by a ship of this size. More beautiful than the ship are the mountains in the background, partly catching the rays of the sun. I am happy to have travelled by bus along the entire gulf, rather than seeing it from a ship. Technically the photo is excellent, very sharp and very well exposed.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi David.
A beautiful view of the fjord but it is a pity to see this once sleepy place invaded by massive ships that dwarf the town and surrounds. I saw the same in little Juneau in Alaska a couple weeks ago - 5 giant ships on the one day!
Cheers

Hello David,
Fantastic panorama from the Kotor bay. The big cruiser looks here very attractive but in fact, I do not like them and it is not my dream to travel like this. Splendid very wide composition, excellent sharpness and colours.
Kind regards Malgo
