This is the view on the Afgedamde Maas (Dammed Maas river) from Wellseind, a small village in the Bommeler Waard near Zaltbommel. The mill in the back is the same as the one in the 'Gebr. Remmerde' photo but seen from the other side.

The Bommeler Waard is a polder situated between the Waal, the Maas and the Afgedamde Maas rivers. Besides some villages you will mainly find an agricultural landscape with cows and sheep.

This photo was taken from the winterdyke. All land in front of it might flood on the occasion of high water levels during winter.

Very nice panorama with great DoF and nice colours.
It shows the atmosphere like it realy is, I suppose.
Good contrast with those wooden poles and the water.

Hallo Harko,

Uw LV is uitzonderlijk mooi, want velen maken een LV maar verliest zoveel aan kwaliteit iets wat ik hier niet zie.
U heeft wel een mooi landelijk beeld genomen waar alle ingredi螚ten aanwezig zijn om over een panorama te mogen spreken, kleuren en kwaliteit zijn top niveau.

Dag, Harko. Dit is een mooi Hollands landschap. De rivier is zeer mooi en loopt in zijn natuurlijke bedding. Hij leidt ons naar de molen waarvan de wieken boven de horizon uitsteken. De contrasten zijn zeer geslaagd en het landelijke karakter van de plaatswordt zeer goed weergegeven.

I like the predominance of the green and blue in this image. Good idea to crop the image. There are plenty of details to admire, like the rickety bridge and the abandoned boat. Good work

Very good panoramic view with great colours. The green of the fields together with the blue of the river are really good. great details as well. A beutiful shot.

Hi Harko,
A nice river perspective well enhanced by the panoramic crop, it's luminous and i see up there in NL it's summer too, of course having a windmill pop up in the far end is a must for such a photo !

Det finns en liten liten ton av gamla vykort 饘er den h酺 pastoralen som har allting som ett Holl鄚dskt landskap ska ha (v輐erkvarnen, kanalen och det flacka landskapet med mycket himmel).
Antar att man sis嶟酺 vart 6-7 緳 kan 嶡a skridskor p� dom h酺 kanalerna om nu inte den globala uppv酺mningen inte 鄚drar p� det.
