This artwork seems to draw a lot of interest ...

As you can see , "De Tekenaar" - a painted steel of an artist with a drawing board in 1981.
Pieter Mol is a Bredanaar sculptor who creates this 'Two-dimensional' artwork ( WS1 ).

This work of art has been completely restored in recent months and returned to its original
condition and colour scheme, back at its same spot.
It used to be sort of white or grey painted steel.

As for the windmill - De Arend ( WS2 ).
It's a lively, mill shop in an ancient building ( built 1742 ).
At the top of the mill, they grind the grain into flour and process in their own mixtures
and pack for the shop. The grain they grind is of the best quality and comes from the Netherlands.

All varieties of mixtures for breads and cakes.
Too bad I'm not a good baker but I do have 'sweet tooth'.

Hello Loong,
This is the photo I am sure several of us were waiting for. It is the kind of public art work that makes me happy. It's colourful and cleverly made, and it's perfectly placed on the location as well as in this photo. The WS from the other side is a nice surprise that shows us what a smart sculpture it is.
I will have to make this a favourite!

Hello Loong, I was hoping that you would show this artwork after viewing your previous shot, I really wanted to see a closer view. Excellent composition as the figure looks towards the windmill.
The two workshop shots complement this post so well.

A great composition with this combination of the traditional windmill and the colourful, modern work of art to the left of it. The early spring weather was wonderful here as well and you made the most of it.

Hello Loong,
You've placed this artwork beautifully in this peaceful landscape.
As if we would make a drawing from here ourselves.
It's a beautiful piece of art and the person depicted is actually a painter's palette.
In WS1, it looks like two people are drawing next to each other.

Hi Loong,this work is really delicious, a real genius !! The position is very beautiful, perfect to marry with the scenario in which the mill is the protagonist, and we can see it well in the WS. It was definitely worthwhile restoring the "artist at work". Good photo of the sculpture and surrounding scenery which would be a good subject for painting or drawing.

This sculpture of a painter is very funny. A real person could sit over there just like that. Bright colours look very nice. You composed the view perfectly with the painter and the windmill balancing the scene.

Interesantan i lep pogled, dobar tekst ...
Lepa skulptura i atara arhitektura, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i perspektivom.

It's a fun sculpture and your point of view makes it look like the person is drawing the windmill in the distance. Great composition and colours, with green grass and blue sky.
