Amsterdam marathon 2010.
ieri si e' svolta la 35a edizione della maratona di Amsterdam, alla quale hanno partecipato 10.241 persone.
il tempo era splendido e c'era una bella atmosfera lungo il percorso, con gli spettatori che incitavano i podisti con applausi e musica.
su molte magliette si leggeva "what does it take?", riferito sicuramente alla maratona - cosa ci vuole per partecipare ad una corsa del genere, per arrivare al traguardo, per vincere la sfida con se stessi?
sicuramente un fisico allenato, ma anche concentrazione, una forma mentale decisa - e, non da ultimo, senso dell'umorismo.

yesterday Amsterdam welcomed the 10.241 runners of the 35th Amsterdam marathon. it was a cold but very sunny day, which improved even more the mood among the runners and the audience. lots of people greeted the runners along the course, cheering and playing music.
many runners sported a t-shirt saying "what does it take?", surely referring to the marathon.
what does it take to run such a marathon, to finish the run, to win the challenge with yourself?
well, not only a trained body but also a strong mind, concentration, endurance - and last but not least, sense of humour.
