Photographer's Note

This is my first repost at TE. Since I did the PP on this one I have learned a lot about how to work with light and contast, which I did in this case. The main difference is a different way of adding contrast and brightness. On the first version it was done on all the colors, here I only did it on the midtones which gives much brighter colors better in line with the actual conditions.

Original note:
This photo was taken just outside Spaarndam in February late in the afternoon around 16.30 on one of the few sunny days this winter.

The Dutch mountains here are actually bunkers from the second world war and were part of the Atlantic wall. In the fields to the right there were many more albeit a lot smaller.
The old part of Spaarndam which can be seen here starts just behind the bunkers.
