Photographer's Note
At the museum of the traditions of Zuiderzee (South Sea), the mill is a proud and iconic element of the history of Holland.
The Dutch windmills were once used mainly to pump water from the polders, land obtained from the sea and located beneath the level of it. In fact, the wings are only an engine and people could, inside the mill, install a range of tools so mechanized.
