Photographer's Note

A row of Willows seen from the winter dyke along the Lek river near Culemborg.

This photo was taken about a month ago when spring had not really arrived yet. In between we had a taste of summer last weekend with temperatures up to record level for the time of year in the Netherlands. Never has it been so warm (almost 29) so early in the year.

This one is beautiful! The build up, the colours the sharpness, the expositioneverything is perfect - and by the row of trees it has a good depth. It like this one a lot!

Hi Harko,
A great geometric game of the alignments that form the fence and the row of trees.
There are a good lighting, a few magnificent reflections and a few beautiful colors in this composition, which is very clean and has a high quality of image.

Hallo Harko,
Dit is heel mooi gecomponeerd. Flink wat diepte door die bomenpartij van rechts naar links met diep groen en blauw. Mag dit graag zien, ook al is het dan geen zomers plaatje. Misschien hier over een paar weken nog eens terug gaan om de lente te fotograferen. Mooie locatie en mooie plaat.

Des tr鋊 beaux contrastes entre les bleus du ciel et de l'eau et les verts du champ. Une tr鋊 bonne gestion de la DOF et une excellente lumi鋨e.

Hallo Harko,

Niet alleen de temperatuur laat een spoor van bloemen en bloessums achter, maar ook de droogte waar de eerste sporen van te merken vallen, zeker in de vlasteelt, dit wordt een ramp, het vlas moet nu 15 cm hoogstaan, het is amper 3 cm. Dit zijn altijd moeie foto's voor mij, rustgevend en mogelijkheid tot eens lekker ademen, hij zou bij wijze van spreken in mijn achtertuin kunnen genomen zijn. Een kleine bemerking de donkere shaduw hoek beneden rechts valt ietje tegen, verder een perfect kwaliteit. Bedankt voor uw bezoek.

zeer fraaie foto Harko,
de details zijn prachtig , mooi helder weer geen wind, goede reflectie, mooi licht. aangename foto. Zelf zou ik hier gaan voor het carper formaat daar is deze goed geschikt voor, maar dat is persoonlijk, goed werk.

Nice triangle comp on this one. The willows surely has character, It's like they exploding,
there's a lot of good elements in this one, the shadow makes body to the right, the green and the blue syncronice in a good way and of cause the mirror effect.
