Sunset and Seagull's

"We come from miles just to see
the pain of today slip into the sea.
No invoice or bill admission is free.

We flock to the shore camera's in hand
trying to capture the beauty and peace.
The red's, orange, blues and pink's all
sketched with indelible ink.

Etched on the canvas of an evening sky
painted in our own mind's eye.
Color's so bold we never forget
as if the canvas is still wet.

We drink in the color's like a fine wine
as seagull's sing in a painted sky.
We stare into the sunset
like our lover's eyes.

And if your lucky and thing's are just right
you might see a green flash tonight.
That really makes a great night.

The sun kisses the sea goodnight.
We keep coming back to see where the
world's best show is always free."

you've captured something really special with your image, beautiful dark blue colours, lovely tones of red & orange and of course the lovebirds.....I've never though of seagulls as lovebirds before, now that's a thought! Lovely poem, well done.

Your gallery always beckons a visit, to see what you have most recently posted. And each visit rarely disappoints. Excellet image, with exquisite composition, light and exposure. The fullness of the birds breasts has been achieved lighting (fil-flash?!?) and is better than having just a sillhouette of the birds. Regards, Bulent

Foarte frumoasa compozitie, culori si lumina. Pasarile astea au ceva apocaliptic: singurii supravietuitori in urma exploziei atomice/ciocnirii cu meteoritul/incendiului global si catastrofal/sau asa ceva privesc orasul mistuit de flacari. Impresionant.

M-am uitat la toate fotografiile Tale si da-mi voie sa imi exprim felicitarile mele pentru talentul Tau fomidabil!!!
