Photographer's Note
Another picture from the hike up Besseggen, one of the most famous trails in the country. Besseggen itself is this steep climb with a view towards the two lakes and the narrow path on the edge in between. This picture was taken near the top. You can clearly see the trail going straight up very steep and on the worst part literally, there is a vertical drop of 200 m to the right and a 700 m drop to the left. So you better be careful...
The view to the two lakes (Bessvatnet and Gjendevatnet) is what makes this a really memorable hike. The view is fantastic during the whole hike, and I think I'll share a picture of this steep climb seen from below on another occation.

That looks like a great place for a hike.
The small people give the picture a real sense of the scale of these mountains and lakes. Great composition.

Dazzling shot with the low waterlevel on the left and the high level on the right. People like ants: impressive view on Norways nature!
