Photographer's Note

I am now opening Part II of the 2008 summer travelogue on Asgard II, the Irsih sail training ship, which wll cover the second race, from Bergen (Norway) to Den Helder (Netherlands), across the North Sea. Thus this part will mainly contain sea views.

This is the first picture taken after the departure from Bergen: the entrance of the fjord after passing the bridge.

Hi Emmanuel,
Good pov to show the broad landscape, nice to see variety types of ships and boats, good shoot to record the bad weather with dramatically sea and stormy sky in thick clouds.

The sky is really the star of the show here: i feel like I can reach out and touch it. The flotilla of sails and the lighthouse? ground that wonderful sky well.
