The one day within a year you may see a cow and her calf run and jump of joy is the day when they are let free at their summer camp in the mountain. After a long winter they are transported from their barn in the valley and up to the summer farm. To be outdoor for the next weeks - finally FREE..

Hello Jack! When we hike in the Alps, many times you see free running cows and people are sometimes surprised what happy and curious animals they are and how crazy they can be jumping around and trying to lick your skin. City people have NO idea but eat their meat but I can tell you, the cheese is a hundred pro different with milk from free cows. Great shot with the spirit you describe. Best regards, Barbara.

Hola Jack.
That's the way it should be all year around, free. it's not possible in countries with very cold weather and just get out of the barn through the summer. A good photo of the calf finally free. Very good colors, POV and sharpness, also good lighting and frame.

Free for animals is an important moment every year in the spring time.

Few things feels so releasing as seeing calfs at the first green grass in the spring.
great details my friend it has some kind of painted structure on it maybe the fantastic light settings.
a very happy one.
