Modern Farm, a photo from Sor-Trondelag, South

Photographer's Note

So far in the farm & farmland theme I have shown you the picturesque places, old buildings with the patina of time...

So you possibly got the impression that the majority of farms are old and out of date?

The fact is I have to search the area to find those oldies, but I did that with pleasure since they are so much more fun to photograph!

Most of the farms are modern and efficient businesses, well equipped and with modern buildings.

For instance this place, that is the next neighbour to the abandoned farm (photo1237298) posted earlier in the theme. So it is my guess that the farmer here also is working the land of that old farm someone left behind...

Lovely colours for this shot: the contrast is excellent thanks to the red banr on the left that stands out really well against the green grass and the blue sky. The clouds are extremely attractive. Good job

Hey! you have found the perfect light and colours here!
Green/red/blue and so vivid and bright! And the sky is simply delightful!

We don't have those clouds in august, but we're having them now (I'll have some fine photos which perhaps I'll post later)

And also the composition is perfectly according to the 1/3 rule resulting in a very harmonious image and a pleasing impact.

The farm buildings are well placed in the frame. The composition is well divided, the sky the trees and the farm buildings with the field. The distance between the fied and the trees is giving depth to the composition. The afternoon light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day from Varadero.

My first impression is spaciousness conveyed by that much green freshness relaying a secondary part to the modern barn, eventhough attention is always carried back towards it, sliding on the soft gradient.
