Photographer's Note

This is No. 1 basin of the Gdynia port, and the famous polish torpedo-boat "Błyskawica". This warship is a precious national relic, the only remaining ship that was built before the World WAR II. "Błyskawica" was built in 1935-1937. In 1940 it took part in covering actions for coastal convoys and in the Norwegian operation. The next operation was covering of the British expeditionary corps evacuation from the Dunkirk area. During the war the Polish navy ship "Błyskawica" quarded 83 convoys, carried out 108 operational patrols, participated in sinking two warships, damaged three submarines and shot down four war-planes for sure and quite probably three more.
At present it belongs to the Navy Museum.

Dobre ujęcie "Błyskawicy" - podoba mi się kadr, fajne ta flotylla łabędzi na pierwszym planie, ładny kolor nieba. Do tego dodałeś interesujący opis. Podoba mi się ten post. Andrzej

Witaj Jacek!
Szeroki kat robi swoje. Wypatrzylem, ze horyzont lekko 'leci'. Labedzie sa fajnym dodatkiem tutaj. Podoba mi się panoramiczen podejscie do tematu.

Świetny kadr oraz zabawne połaczenie siły i agresywności (okręt) z łagodnością (łabędzie).
Kolorystyka nieba idealnie ułożyła się z kolorostyką statku.
Bardzo dobre zdjęcie.
