Photographer's Note

On Sunday I had a lovely day in Warsaw. The weather was amazing and I enjoyed sun, rest and taking pictures. This one has been taken on the roof of Warsaw University Library building. It is freely accessible not only to the academia, but also to the public. The view from that place is really great!

An unusual composition full of atmosphere with the sun's rays reflected across the foreground roof windows and the lovely city of Warsaw in the background. The criss-cross of the airplane trails is a definite bonus with the sun nicely placed therein. Well exposed with good colours and sharpness.

you are right the view from this place is amazing.I like the interesting figures in the sky in contrast to the roof of the building.Excellent photojob.Very well seen and done.TFS.

I really like this backlight
The sky with the sun and the lines that cross. The POV and the perspective of the glass roof, the diagonals it creates, and the shines of the sun.

These roof glass made for an excellent FG and lead the eye nicely to the little bridge where people are standing on with behind a glimpse on a church!
The sun reflecting on the glass is also a nice detail to look at!

Hi Malgorzata,
I've been to this rooftop garden before, and it really is a lovely place. I like all of the different elements in this shot--the bright sunlight creating the silhouettes in the background, the lines of the roof and trails in the sky, and the vertical format works well here.

you are a lucky girl ! fabulous this composition where the lines in the sky matched well with the lines in the roof. these scenes are gave to us by chance but your eyes and mind caught the whole aspect and created a masterpiece. well done

C'est de la tr鋊 belle photo. J'aime ce soleil radieux au milieu des traces des avions. Les reflets de la verri鋨e du toit sont superbes et bien encadr廥 par les supports g廩m彋riques. Le plus c'est la pr廥ence des visiteurs en silhouette.

Hello Malgorzata,
An extraordinary moment as the sun was just between the jet-streems, and people stood as silhouettes on some roof or veranda directly in opposite POV.
Well managed mirror on roof and difficult light. I assume you managed this through glassed window.
