Photographer's Note
Mary's Street in Katowice (1876-1922 [2] and 1939-1945 [3] Richard Holtzestraße [4] [5]) - one of the most important streets in the Katowice district Downtown. Its name derives from St. Mary's Church, to which it leads.
Over the entire length of Mary Street is a pedestrian area. Run begins at the intersection of streets Dworcowa (formerly Bahnhofstraße) and A. Mielec. Then crosses the street Stanislaus (the promenade) and st. French. Promenade ends its run at St Mary's Church (Children's Bl. Szramka Father Emil).
At this time, it houses here many art galleries and exhibitions.
Part of the exhibition WORK IN PROGRESS.

Hi Tomasz,
i must confess that i found difficulty to understand your picture, but in the end i found it really interesting.Hard even to criticise, frankly. The three figures, unsettling to tell the truth, catch the attention on them. This, contrasting with the observer's reflection on the glass, gives meaning to the photo.
An hard to understand image, but i think very well thought-out.

Witaj Tomasz,
I've a lot books read about Poland and Katowice, this during WAR II, I remember the Dutchman Menten, that as German officer active was in Katowice.
He has a lot Jews killed in Poland, together with a group Germans.
Again see I anything that me do remember at these time.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Tomasz - I've looked at your image again and again today. It's unusual but it appeals to me a lot. The colour saturation is very good as is the composition. The three figures have an almost malevolent look about them and the ghostly image (right frame) completes the strangeness. Well conceived. Best regards Rosemary

Czesc Tomasz!
A niech mnie ges kopnie, ze sie tak wyraze. Dziwne zdjecie. Bardzo tajemnicze. Mysle tu o scenie, o ludziach. Ale takze zastanawia mnie kolorystyka, tonacja barw.
Klaniam sie!

dear Tomasz,
a beautiful art work picture,
layered images are illusionary and ambient,
the actual view is quite equal to the mirage, and the reflection is more realistic than the actual vision,
the atmosphere is floating in the air indeed,
thank you for your excellent shot,
Akihisa
