Winter in Lazienki, a photo from Mazowieckie, East

Photographer's Note

I was shocked when I got an email from Mikolaj that his all gallery was removed from TE, and also all the photos by Bebehooker, JanD, swiatopelk777, Jonathan Tree and Ola Kwiatek. Why? What happened? The first idea was that it was something against Polish members and specially from Warsaw. I am from Warsaw too so I felt not safe. The next shock was when I learnt from the discussion on Forum that it was only one person in fact. Mikolaj had multiple accounts.

I am very sorry about it because Mikołaj (and others) had beautiful photos in real spirit of TE. All those castles and churches in Poland, in Warsaw specially, fantastic photos of Portugal and lately Rom. It is a pity these great shots are no more here.

This is a winter photo of Lazienki Palace. There were many photos of this place that disappeared so I fill the empty place.

Czesc Malgorzata,
bardzo smutna historia w rzeczy samej. Tragiczne wrecz zakonczenie nawet z punktu widzenia TE, poniewaz galerie tychze osob(y) byly ogromnie bogate w zdjecia z Polski. Z calego kraju. Teraz nie masz wyjscia: musisz zapelnic te luke :)

Bardzo oryginalna prezentacja Lazienek. Zimowa dekoracja idzie w parze z zimnymi barwami wiec az zimno sie robi patrzac na to zdjecie.
Ciekawa monumentalna architektura. Niebo moglo byc ciekawsze no ale to nie Twoja wina, co wiecej -takie jakie jest rowniez wydaje sie byc pelne chlodu.

Hi Malgo,incredible history from your country..eheh...Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde live there!But today I also am a little angry because my dog was removed after 3 days and 70 votes, could not do it immediatly?

a great winter shot! I like especially the characteristic winter light and the good composition with the well placed tree in foreground.

Your note is quite interesting and instructive. You're just completely wrong with the last sentence in the main paragraph :-)

Witaj drodzy Malgo,

Jestem bardzo przykro z powodu tych wiadomości brzydkie. Jestem szczeg鏊nie rozczarowany za ciebie, bo myślę, że bardzo miły i osoby zaufania i niekt鏎e osoby (lub osoba) skorzystał z dobrej natury. Mikołaj się wspaniały wkład w TE. I szczeg鏊nie pamiętam jego zdjęcia Rzym, ale także wspaniałą kraju. To jest strata, ale on złamał regulamin. Nie rozumiem dlaczego, a ja jestem bardzo obawiając się o jego dobre samopoczucie, jeśli myślał, że ten problem był na wszystkich właściwych. W każdym razie, do piękne zdjęcie: Wierzę, że Mariusz i innych polskich fotograf闚 wypełni lukę. Obraz jest tak czysty i nieskazitelny. Ekspozycji Expert i niesamowite kontrasty. Gratulacje, zdjęcia wysyła dobre i pozytywne przesłanie.

Excellent presentation of this beautiful castle unedr snow. I like the composition of this image with a POV well selected nad the tree on bthe right which give depht. I like too the excellent managment of light which give beautiful play of shade.

Wonderful winter scenery collected, fine outlines and contrast.
As for your note, I must say ( also as a Polish origion, jewish but a descendent from there)this is incredible story, unbelieveable, and I am glad still to see some Polish member left in their own identity...Ha Ha , Pitty for someone who thought of doing such mistake.

La neve � di casa ed � presente nelle foto (recenti) nordiche.
E' un filtro colore naturale ed un effetto ammorbidente.
Nonostante i volumi netti ed i colori risaltano come un viso di donna ...spandendo le luci come i tecnici con gli elementi diffondi riflessi ...
La neve fa da"set" naturale

No, dear Malgo, is not true that blond women specially old are rather stupid. It's true instead, that in this world there are stupid people that believe to be more cunning than other people. You have shown to be a clear person, honest and altruist. It doesn't care if in TE will miss some photos of Warsaw, there are fortunately good photographers that can publish other photos. This your beautiful photo is the demonstration of that that I say.

A beautiful photo of this palace in wintry environment. A perfect POV and a nice composition where the tree frames the photo. Good control of light and beautiful colours. Your Nex-5 seems to be a good tool.
The story you are telling and what we can read also in the forum is sad and almost incredible, but what happened shows in its own way that the net and its communities can sometimes be rather weird "sandboxes". I'm sure you and other Polish members gradually will fill the gap.
