Photographer's Note

Stegna [ˈstɛɡna] (German Steegen) is a village in Nowy Dw鏎 Gda雟ki County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Stegna. It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Nowy Dw鏎 Gda雟ki and 32 km (20 mi) east of the regional capital Gda雟k.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.

The village has a population of 4,000.

Parish church dedicated the Most Saint Heart of the Lord Jesus built in years 1681 – 1683 on foundations of the even older, Gothic church. The church with the brick chancel and the nave of the wattle-and-daub structure is in the centre towns. A knob is on a tower with the windy flag, on which is seen date 1683. Unique bodies slung under the ceiling of a canvas painting and historic are in an interior.
