Village Bonikow - Wayside cros with sculptures Pawel Brylinski.

Bonikow is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Odolanow, within Ostrow Wielkopolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 2 kilometres south of Odolan闚, 12 km south of Ostrow Wielkopolski.

Pawe� Brylinski (born 1814 in Wieruszow - died 1890 in Masanow, buried in Olobok) was a folk sculptor, a wandering woodcarver and an outstanding artist of southern Wielkopolska. On the trail of his woodcarving walk, we can find the vicinity of Ostrow Wielkopolski and Odolanow as well as Krotoszyn, Pleszew and the sculptor's hometown Wierusz闚. In the area of Ostr闚 Wielkopolski in Pruslin and the neighbouring Topola Ma豉, Gorzyce Male, Gorzyce Wielkie, Lamki and Radziwi陶闚 there were or there are until today the works of Master of Masanow.

A good capture of this rustic cross, nicely framed by the tree. The image has very good colours and sharpness.

nice the tight frame of the cross with the hanging sculptures to make it very beautiful and unique.I like the way the cross outlined against the blue and puffy sky as the brilliant light of scene.

I really like the POV of this composition, with this diagonal marking the fir and the unique wooden sculpture, standing out on this wonderful blue, charming sculptures, hurt by the passage of time has deteriorated part thereof, is a different image very lovely.
