The swans are among the largest flying birds. Their wingspans can be 3 m. The Northern Hemisphere swans have pure white plumage but the Southern Hemisphere swans are mixed black and white.

I hope that this photograph receives the wide attention it deserves. The magnificent scene is well timed, flawlessly exposed. Although it is largely B&W, there is the subtle highlight create by the swans' beaks.

hello Ryszard. What amazes me here is that you captured this moment with a coolpix camera. The lighting and contrast between the swan pair and dark water lighting is excellent. Not to ignore the water details in motion...excellent capture.
