Photographer's Note

Colors of Golden Polish Autumn in the Sowie Mountains, one of the most mysterious mountains in the Lower Silesia. Sowie (owl) Mountains is the region best known of its modern history (there were lots of undiscovered up til today underground war factories in this territory) and of its beautiful colors of Autumn. It is so beautiful especially because of big number of deciduous trees, not only coniferous, as it is often in the higher mountains. The highest peak is Wielka Sowa (Great Owl) and it is 1015 meters over sea level high.

Hi Grzegorz,
Excellent Autumn scenery in a well composed composition. I like the diagonal grade of the territory and the wonderful colours. The light management is also very good. Splendid work!

Fantastycznie wyszly ci kolory a zwlaszcza nasycenie.

Wiesz ze ja studiowalem bilogie? A jednak moje zdjecia nie pokazuja tematow jakimi typowy biolog raczej sie interesuje, czyli natura. Ty jestes architektem a jednak zamiast zdjec architektury pokazujesz nam nature. Cos w tym chyba jest nie tak..jak sadzisz?

I am following your series about autumn, since I am fascinated by the way you capture the different colours the nature can create in this period. Good composition here with the diagonal line of the slope crossing the image.

Pocz徠ki jesieni na zdj璚iu wygl康aj� 豉dnie, ja tylko czekam jak u mnie b璠� takie kolory. My郵�, 瞠 ko這 20 pa寮ziernika powinno ju� by� idealnie. Nie ma to jak wycieczka do lasu o tej porze roku :) Zdj璚ie podoba mi si�, dobra kompozycja, ostro嗆.

A very well composed shot with splended autumn colours. I really like the slope of themountain here and how you have captured the red leaves carpeting the ground intermingled with patches of grass and moss. The colours are very pleasing. another wonderful autumn umage, I love the way you capture this colorful and melancholy season. The twisted treetrunks are a great contrast to the slope of the hillside and the delicate and colorful leaves The POV is perfect- the opening between the trees is like a path leading away into the woods.
