Love it...
Simply - love it !
Is it because those two red hoods in there ?
Is it because a white snow is white in THIS picture ?
(It's suppose to be blue, according to the most advanced, the brightest brains on the site !)
Love it...
Simply - love it ! ( and, whatcha gonna do 'bout it, eh ? :-)))
Love

z pozdrowieniami, agn

Nicely seen Jerzy... Looks like a maquette... so many details... the textures.... A charming image... I even start liking snow :-))) Last year we almost got a record of falling snow here ... the predictions are very similar for this winter... But now I feel like ready for the snow after looking at your bucolic image :-)))
Have a nice winter!

Hello Jerzy,
This is a great picture, well seen and cleverly made. Two red dots near the opposite corners, two abandoned benches and a lot of funny tracks from where the kids have been walking.
Thanks for sharing,
Gert

Hello Jerzy.
Judging by your title we could guess that you don't like winter and snow at all but after looking at the photo I have my doubts even if you say 'kids' love it.
Nevertheless aren't we always 'kids' but with different thoughts? doesn't we have some reactions very similar to the kid's ones from time to time when we get excited with something?
The photo itself, it's a true snow white photo present with a high contrast and strict B&W only breaked by the kid's coats. The zig zaggy lines on the snow are a nice lead in from the lower part to the upper part of the photo.
Cheers.

Oh, how much I love this Jerzy. How joyful, how fresh, brings me back to childhood straightaway...that snowman is the cherry on a big cake also for me. Superb contrast, some red, crisp details everywhere and the high POV makes this dreamy yet so much a piece of daily life. The banks, the tracks give it also a graphic side. Wonderful.
Cheers

Oh, yes - that's the way to do it!
Old school - very subtle, lovely use of high contrast.
Not many can 'see' this before 'pulling the trigger', I'm sure - only those who are talented (and like to learn, rather than collect points, no?)
Cheers,
Robi

Witaj Jerzy.
Nice "landscape". Well, somehow this is not a landscape, but I like very much this picture where the snow is everywhere and it looks amazing.
Also those people add an interesting element to the photo.
Well done and thanks for sharing.
(maybe this week I will have this same scenary)

I'm with the kids... Love this diferent one, Jerzy. You also use partial desaturation making things easy? I wonder how are the colors in the original... The graphism of the white scenery would be enough for me but I agree it's nice to see the red elements too. Maybe the snowmen should be shining in some way also ;-)

This one is great!
The best bits for me are the way the two red-clad kids stand out amongst the cold white of the rest of the scene, and those details of the snowman and the giant snowball clinch the deal - good work Jerzy.
I find my eye darting around the frame, following all those little tracks made in the snow - a bit like pinball - it works well.
Cheers,
Ben

Love the little trails of footprints leading the viewer around the frame. And the two children with the red jackets must be angels - for they are surely heaven sent!

Delicious, delicious ! the winter pleasures... (not only for the children !)
As you write, the first moments with snow are pure joy and then we are happy when spring arrives too - this photo is lovely, I like a lot this large view, a"perspective cavalière" with small silhouettes and red jackets !
Keep smiling,
Cath.

Hi Jerzy,
From an artistic point of view, I love the photo, it almost looks like a scene from an animation film where the people contrast really hard against their background. The dark lines in the snow create nice patterns to follow.

Outstanding winter scene. Love the harsh contrast, the footprints and paths crisscrossing and the people juxtaposition. Kinda like a modern fairy tale ...

Pomysłem i wykonaniem.
Pozdrawiam, Anka
