Photographer's Note

Another photo of "Lagoa das Sete Cidades" (Seven Cities Lagoon). This time from a different point of view ... From the Canary Lagoon site.
I'll be posting more photos from this place to show you the true dimension, sea and landscape that makes this place so perfect.
What you see here is a Vulcano .. 2 crateres :) there are several ...
On the background the sky merges with the sea :)

I'm sorry for all of you that commented and liked that photo ... :(

I'll be dropping by once or twice a week only till the June 15th for college exams. I promise that when I get back I'll compensate the lost time :)

Wonderful shot.

very clean.
Very attractive.
Nice POV.
Creater is off center is more striking. Shadow brought 2 differnt colors of water.

It looks an incredibly pretty place, and I think you've done so well to achieve this point of view. The water in the first lagoon looks delightful and inviting...however the top left of the photo where the sea stretches away to the sky looks a little hazy, I'm not sure if it could benefit from a workshop. I wouldn't have a clue how, of course....I'm not clever enough by far! (I'm really helpful for making suggestions like that all the time...!)

Still think it's a pretty image, and I look forward to more from there. Best of luck with exams!

Such a beautiful landscape you have captured here. I love the way the eye follows the curve throughout the pic. I like also the bold colours of the main subject and the haziness of the background. Nice work.

Ponto de vista magnifico. As nossas lagoas sao sempre lindas. O titulo escolhido esta otimo. O ceu esta um pouquinho claro de mais para o meu gosto, mas as lagoas estao maravilhoas.

Ol� Joana. A beautiful photo of this grand landscape, where the water-filled crater with the road around its rim makes a fine foreground interest, and your wide framing with the deep DOF shows even more pleasant scenery towards the back. Beautiful natural colors in the mid-May sun, nicely done.

That's simply breathtaking! What else could one say! Awsome sight of the two craters of the volcano! With all the green and blue around one may tend to forget the fury dat it could generate when it erupts! Dat's always the paradox of nature!

Espl幯dida vista a廨ea del lago en el cr嫢er del volc嫕. Los alrededores del cr嫢er son muy bellos, con los 嫫boles y los prados verdes, y el agua del lago con este color es fant嫳tica. El anillo que forma el camino alrededor del cr嫢er le da mucho grafismo al conjunto.
La foto tiene mucha profundidad y perspectiva, me gusta.

PS: Muchos miembros de TE hemos visto c鏔o se nos retiraban fotos sin saber bien el motivo, a m� me ha pasado dos veces, y una me doli�, ya que era un homenaje que hice en forma de foto de unas flores (pensamientos) a nuestro inolvidable amigo Fernando Guedes GALMEIDA. Ni eso se respet�, aunque las flores deban estar en TrekNature.

Joana,

Beautiful shot! The composition is very good, fore ground is sharp and colourful. Sky is a little burnt out. This is a dramatic landscape - bravo!

As everyone else has said, great photo! The excess sky at the top detracts slightly from the striking greens though: i would crop it a few cm's down but maybe it's a matter of taste...
