Photographer's Note
On the east part of the island, the Mosteiros beach is a scenery of an astounding natural beauty, not only the sandy beach, we can also find natural pools between black rocks. On the beach we find also 4 islets that were the reason for the town name.

Nice work, Sergio. A great subject here, very well composed. I really like the mix of elements, and am especially drawn to the rocks on the horizon. I generally like the long exposure to soften the surf, but I think 5 seconds was a bit long for the clouds -- they seem a bit blurry compared to the sand and cliff because of their movement. Perhaps a 1-second exposure would have worked better.

Hi Sergio,
All your photo's have a special mood inside, the so called Portugese touch which i also see in Luis his pictures. Very strange light here, really an unique moment and you captured it with a great knowledge and dedication.
The mkIII is a great tool, it's doing well in your hands.
Great shot, really good work.

Sergio,
Good work. Very moody image with the menacing dark clouds and the orange in the sky. Like mbasil I too like the effect a longer exposure has on the sea as it is coming into the shore.

Richard.

Mmm...this is a peaceful shot, indeed. Magical colours in the sky and sea, but what is that small orange/pink dot on the beach in the foreground? I find that a bit distracting. Otherwise, a perfect long exposure shot.
