Photographer's Note
Cape Gir緌 is located in Madeira Island, west of Funchal. It is a nearly vertical cliff 580 m high, the second highest in Europe and offers a magnificent view of the sea, C滵ara de Lobos and Funchal.
Contemplating the promontory from the observation deck protected by a metal railing provides a breathtaking experience.
By 2003, the year that there was a cable car built, the fields located at the bottom of the slope were only accessible by boat.

Impressive location, it's always amazing to find such unusual places. Incredible height for a cliff so close to the seashore (although I'm probably underestimating the size of the ground below, from such height). Thank you for showing it.
