Photographer's Note

This tower is called Torre das 縵uias (Eagles Tower), because it was situated in an old village called 縵uias, which is now abandoned.
Its a square shaped 16th century Gothic-Manueline Tower and one of the best examples of this type of architecture in the region. It was a place where the nobles used to rest when they were hunting in the region.
Its a National Monument but its now in ruins. However, some good details of the Manueline style can still be seen, both outside and inside.
Its private property.
