Lisbon- Old City, a photo from Lisboa, South

Photographer's Note

Standing on the southbank of the river Tejo we coud see the old center of Lisbon almost 3 km away. The shadows caused by the speede clouds give a fantastique show. To get the effect we used our telelens.
At the photo you can see: Terreiro do Paco (yellow building bij the river), Se (the old cathedral on the left side of the photo)Church Sta Engracia ( with is kople on the right side)

Ol� Kik, I can see well by the posts of your gallery, that you should be in love with Portugal ;-) Nice series from 2004, even if the quality is not allways the best. I would guess that they are scanned images. You made a good crop with your zoom, out of the great view that one have from the other side of the river. It remembers me this view I posted recently. Love the show of shadows on the buildings. Well done.

Hello,

Very nice photo, mainly due to the gradation of the light induced by the clouds. It gives a dynamic to the overall scene and also allows to get saturated colors which fill well for this urban landscape.
