Industrial Residues, a photo from Setubal, South

Photographer's Note

Today I𠐔e decided to post a different kind of photography�
Maybe you think I𠐔e gone crazy�but as far as I know I𠍿 perfectly fine ;-)
This is a picture from a receiver cistern in a treatment station of residual industrial waters (fortunately you can㦙 feel the smell through the picture) .
In this particular case the residues came from Industries of inks and chemical products (oils and detergents).
This is the first stage of the water treatment.
The polluted waters are deposit in this cistern to rest so that the solids may sink what makes there removal task easier.
When the solids are removed the water goes to another cistern to receive more treatments, but I𠍿 not going to explain the all process because it𠏋 a little bit complex.
I like this picture because of the textures and the mix of colours that created an interesting pattern, almost like an abstract painting.

The effect of these colours is amazing Teresa. I really like this abstract shot, even if the subject itself is pollution. Well seen and thanks for sharing.

Without your good note I would have thought you have been to an art gallery.

Without the note I would have thought TL but after reading it, it's very much TE material. The colours and how they are separated from each other are pretty amazing. It's all very abstract.

Hi Teresa, what a shot! My first initial reaction was to ask myself whether I'm drunk. Then I thought it was probably some bacteria or virus on the microscope. Anyway, good you saw/captured/posted this one because it's certainly original, the shapes and the tones in yellow/green/brown are superb. It is very abstract as without your note it would be impossible to know what it is, but even without the explanation once can truly enjoy the outcome of fantastic colours and extraordinary patterns. Although the subject is not so usual, I think you managed to capture something beautiful in something which is usually disgusting. Nice texture with different layers of colours.

Polluted but a great advice in a artwork by your vision, eye catch, informative notes and capture. All in one with fine colors, textures and graphic effect in a splendid view and composition. I like the diagonal enquadrement with this so detailed repetitive patterns and soft colorful and well sharpned abstract compositions. Talvez essa imagem possa representar um futuro planeta descoberto nas proximas gera蔞es...
Nao estas "crazy at all" podes ter a certeza. Acho at� que � um belo exercicio de sair do academismo! O que me conduz a dizer que a "natureza" (no sentido das rea蔞es quimicas)t瘱 uma forte vertente artistica e que nos, "pobres" humanos so podemos tentar imita-la. Um abra蔞.
