Time to say Goodbye to TE, a photo from Setubal, South

Dear friends,
my time has come too. After the serie of events and the ones of yesterday I decided not to take part on this joke and leave.
I leave with the sense that I always made my best to contribute to the good functioning of the site, and I think I was always polite with everyone but yesterday I was accused of "throwing troubles", had 1 photo removed and 2 or more critiques censored.

I never had one photo removed, and always tried to write down on the notes something useful and related to the photo, yesterday was also the day that my photo got censored because of unacceptable note.

As so, I feel I'm no longer welcome to TE and will leave.

On this last occasion I would like to thank to each and all of you for your support and for the time you took to critique my photos, I would also like to thank you for being so kind and respectful.

It's the respect that I owe to all of you that makes me not erase all the photos, because your critiques, comments and WS are the most precious treasure I can keep from my passage on this site.

I leave with the sensation that this should not have to happen like this, but I'm grown up enough to know I must keep on going and my freedom of speech cannot be silenced, so I move.

From time to time I may have a look on your works, but will never more post here.

Quitting is not the solution because until you acknowledge that abuse in the comments.
In my opinion many people are concerned with the forums and much less with the photographs. The Trekearth for me is to post photos and comment on what I like .....
Personally I only use the forums to inform or be informed about technical problems with the site.
Do you like photography or unnecessary controversy?
There are more serious problems but that they should fight. But even for these there are other sites on the Internet or on the street to demonstrate.

Tenho pena que te v嫳 embora.Virara as costas n緌 � solu誽o at� porque tu reconheces que abusaste nos coment嫫ios.
Na minha opini緌 muitos preocupam-se demais com os f鏎uns e menos com as fotos.O TE para mim � para postar fotos e comentar as que gosto.....
Pessoalmente s� utilizo os f鏎uns para informar ou ser esclarecido acerca de problemas t嶰nicos com o sitio.
Afinal gostas de fotografia ou de pol幦ica desnecess嫫ia?
Existem problemas muito mais graves esses sim que dever燰mos lutar. Mas tamb幦 para esses existem outros locais na Internet ou na rua para nos manifestarmos.

me entristece mucho ver algunos amigos y amigas que se marchan de TE. Supongo que todos tendr嶯s vuestras razones, que yo respeto, pero como no conozco los motivos, me gustar燰 que reconsider嫳eis esta decisi鏮.
Si no es as�, perderemos amigos y espl幯didas galer燰s fotogr塻icas, as� como dejaremos de aprender de los estilos de cada uno.
Tu foto de despedida es magn璗ica, realizada con mucho gusto y elegancia, y adem嫳 tiene una gran fuerza gr塻ica.

Hi Paulo!
I Understand your Good bye verry well and I`m thinking about doing the same since a few month.
Since yesterday I`m back from Morocco and today I started reading the forum.
IB are stupid americans and the islamic arabic and berbere people of Morocco are much more tolerant and respect other nations ,cultures and religions,because they have an own culture and a long tradition.......
I will still post on TE to be present in the www,but write only a few words to photos I really like
It`s now 26 years since I`ve been to Portugal,but when I`ll return,I`ll contact you.
