Photographer's Note

Parque das Na踥es (English: Nations' Park) is a leisure, commercial and residential area in Lisbon, Portugal. It covers an extensive area in northeastern Lisbon next to the Tagus estuary, formerly used for mainly industrial purposes. The area underwent a tremendous transformation in the 1990s when it was chosen as the location for the Expo '98 World Exhibition. After the exhibition, the area got its current name (although it is not uncommon for the Portuguese to still refer to it as "Expo"), and more transformations occurred such as the new Vasco da Gama shopping mall, the Lisbon's International Fair complex, hotels and many new office and residential buildings. Many attractions built for the Expo '98 remained and keep drawing visitors, such as the Oceanarium, one of the world's biggest aquariums. An estimated 15.000 people currently live in the Nations' Park, which is halved between the Lisbon and Loures municipalities, effectively splitting the local government of the area. There is a movement of citizens requesting the Lisbon's half to annex the one belonging to Loures, thereby integrating the entire area within the Lisbon municipality.

tr鋊 belle photo excellemment compos嶪 avec l'embarcad鋨e qui conduit notre regard jusqu'au bateau. Le ciel et ces magnifiques nuages est superbe et apporte du dynamisme. Il contraste aussi avec la couleur de l'eau du Tages. Bravo.

Wow, that is a contrast the very modern jetty and the old fashioned boat. On top of that, you have that beautiful clouds, which add drama to your shot. Very well composed and realized. Well done.

Lisbon is a city which offers plenty of changes for fine and interesting compositions, and your expert eye is always able to find the most meaningful ones. This traditional boat, I think is like those ones who carried the Porto wine transformed for carrying tourists. It's a really deserving subject which give the flavour and peculiarity of a place. Beside that What I like most here is the lovely blending of natural and artificial aspects which create a fine combination of horizontal and vertical lines resulting in a very dynamic composition. But it's the natural elements here, the sky and the water which shows all your mastery in PP. I like it a lot.
There is a unique light as in most of your photos.

I really like this shot, especially for its fine clarity and its well conceived pov. The metal jetty, with its bars and arches, makes a most interesting lead to the rippling water and the waiting boat.

First of all I have to say that I did not expect it is Lisbon at all. The boat seems so exotic and together with incredible processing the sky would indicate a very exotic destination.
Very interesting composition with plenty of simle but interestic elements creating a great geometric effect.
