Photographer's Note
In winter, mornings in the Sotavento often start with a delightfully mysterious ocean mist (a bit like the Noordzee 'zeevlam').
In the bottom of the frame is the Linha de Algarve (the incline in the railway line is to be discerned, coming from Luz it has to climb to Tavira station), above that, are Quintas with their orchards - for Gert: citrus, almond and olives ;-) - with their borders (mostly pine trees).
In the BG is Santa Luzia - on the left a new urbanization, on the right under the water castle, is the barrio social.
Shot from the Tavira apartment.
A larger view is here.
In the WS is the water castle and its context.

Hallo Bert, you captured well that misty morning. A water tower and houses can be seen in the bg. Citrus, almonds and olives were planted in the bg. Nice landscape. Fine colors, good sharpness, interesting photo note, regards.

Goed foto werk Bert, bedankt.
Groeten uit een zeer zonnig Vlaanderen,
John.

Hello Bert,
The railway tracks provide a perfect lower frame to the composition. Among the many green tones of the vegetation there are several interesting features to be found, and at the top the mist creates an interesting atmosphere. There is actually a lot to be seen here.
Regards,
Gert

Bonjour Bert,
Un superbe point de vue sur la vallée à tes pieds. Il y a à la fois rien à voir et tout à voir sous cette très joie brume humide.
Amicalement

Hi Bert, your photo reminds me of the fog I found in Agadir, but it was July and it was used to lower the torrid temperatures. Beautiful composition, there is a lot to see, and it shows despite the haze. The old aqueduct in the WS, on the other hand, is very reminiscent of post-war constructions. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Bonjour, Bert,
C'est vrai que tout devient mystérieux à travers la brume. Celle-ci va se dissiper et laisser place à la ville qui s'éveille.
J'aime la vieille éolienne au premier plan (sauf erreur).
Amitiés.

Hello Bert,
beautiful misty landscape. The most attractive is the higher part with the silhouettes of the tree and the water tower. The view is magical.

Hello Bert,
Your photograph could be a very useful tool for painters, showing them how a sense of depth can be achieved by the slight dimming of the colours, into the distance, ending with different hues of grey.
Is that a wind pump in the f/g?
It is nicely placed as a vertical focal point and links diagonally with the water tower.
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Hello Bert,
With just a minor differences, this could easily be as a sight in Israel coastal planes, especially with the water tower and white small houses with red roof-tiles among the green vegetation.
The mist can be a disturbance - but you managed fairly well under those conditions.
Wish you a nice weekend,
Ike
