Photographer's Note
Each house in the "global village" reduced to its simplest form.
Who will swallow it? The waves rising always higher in the front, the land sliding always faster behind, the earthquakes shaking it always stronger underneath or the great deluge approaching always faster from above?
You need to think about the ONE right way to get out of it.
If you take the wise decision of first climbing the cliff it will be clear that the only alley the great deceiver planted for you leads directly to the volcano ready to explode.
The architect of the house made sure that you will have no excuses for having not seen where will the fire of hell break loose. Any front window you look from, it's just a few steps away.

Short before I planned to reply to the kind words of Fernando about this apocalyptic photo I realised that he was no more among us.
My prayers are with you. May God have mercy on the soul of the outstanding personality we remember in photos and critics.

A beautiful place. And I like the waves breaking against the coast. Nice that you placed the house not centered. This improves the picture. Your note is good though pessimistic. I am worried also about my country and our World and what our inept politicians, the new feudal lords, are doing with it but I do not want to get more depressed. This house seems still to be save from the sea. Maybe there is still place for hope.

How poetic. Did you write that yourself? I have been there and swam in the hot waters close to the black sandy edge. It was theraputic for me - mentally. The misty overcast day you shot this in is a good light for your concern in your writing. Is this not the famous spa of Sao Miguel?

Hi Ilena,
It's interesting your work posts and historical references in a esoteric and prophetic analysis. I'm not a professional photographer and my work was a IT management system for many years, that had small cameras to sho in voyage. I like very much Azores and is a recent discover to me. My hobbies are playing Piano and generally blues and soft Jazz. Another is Astrology that I also know for decades and I made many charts for many people with good sucess. I have so many books about this art and from good world advicers generally in English and French. Thanks for your visit and also thanks for your enigmatic for many point of view, but history and world cycles are like the wheel round, upper, quarter and down to a new born.
If you don't mind I will make a reference to a past post taken just near this place and at right of your photo. I have a picture of this house from the backward that for now I never posted but in this one you have also a WS that is so near this place that we can see Here: Link

Very impressive pioint of view. You are probably right about the short life of this small house which seems to be rather low on the sa level.
Thanks for sharing,
Emmanuel
PS : sorry for discovering this picture trough the link in your hommage to Fernando but nevertheless a nice picture.
