Typical country house, a photo from Braganca, North

Photographer's Note

This is the typical country house of Montesinho, in Portugal!The picture was taken one day after a huge snowfall where people of this village got isolated for two days from the nearbye city!I post this picture for two reasons: first, because it愀 a typical house of my country, second because i loved the way snow got on the stairs!One advice to the person who live there, "get in, using your back door otherwise you惻l never get home at all!"

I have never thought of Portugal and snow as something that belongs together. For me, Portugal is associated with sunshine, beautifull architechture and friendly pepole. It is nice to see something difrent. i thinkt the stair leading up to the red door makes a very nice composition. The eyes know wehre they should go. Well done.

Nice picture Bruno. although huge snowfall doesn't come to mind to me being from New Englad, USA, that is more like a light dusting 8). I really like your composition.

..and I understand that the definition of a "huge" amount of snow is a bit different from my country to Portugal ;-)

Lovely color on the door and windows.
The slight snow cover adds a lot to the image.

Your snow pictures are good. Good angle placing the stairs in such a way that it leads the eye straight up to the red door. The snow on the stairs is a good bright contrast to the grey brick. Well seen.

Gosto muito das escadas cobertas de neve.O enquadramento est� excelente mas, verificar que est嫳 a dar a conhecer ao mundo que afinal Portugal n緌 � s� Algarve da-me ainda mais gozo. Bem haja...
