Photographer's Note

This is just a detail from the tip of an anchor on a small boat peer by river Douro.
The rust was enhanced by the sunlight and its deep orange contrasted with the green from a pile of octopuss and fish traps at the background.

Color corrected, HSB.

Rust can be very beautiful when you aren't the one that has to clean it; and since no one needs to clean an anchor - great! The intense oranges work nicely against the pastel backdrop of teh traps. Intriguing.

An excellent composition. The detail on the rusty anchor is beautiful. The out of focus background is interesting and the greenish colour contrasts nicely with the rust.

H� coisas que nunca sabemos como v緌 sair!... este trabalho saiu muito bom, cor, enquadramento escolhido e a uni緌 de dois elementos relacionados com o mar, dando destaque como � obvio ao primeiro plano.

I love the dynamic play between the colors. The strong shape of the anchor leaves room for some great negative spaces. The anchor tip reminds me of a devil tail. Nicely done.

Wow...you have already had so much praise, my comments seem insignificant - what an awesome 3D image.

I'd lose the frame and ribbon though, the picture is great as it is.
