mig 21, a photo from Constanta, East

Photographer's Note

MIG 21 is the most built jet ever.It has flown in more wars than any other airplane in the world.it's firs flyght was in 1957.
the romanian army is equiped with those kind of jets.
the picture was taken at Fetesti.it is placed there to comemorate the air romanian heroes.
patriotic hm?:D
my first frame in photoshop..thanks to nomadgraphics(alex fonoca).i will improve..:D

foarte interesanta perspectiva. am si eu o poza cu avionul asta dar e din masina :(. chiar, ai vazut si aerodromul de la Fetesti? adica din apropiere? :D

Interesanta incadrarea, parca ai facut poza din zbor, de pe ampenajul avionul. Imi place foarte mult.

I wanted to comment on this photo as I wondered how it could possibly have been taken. As I looked closer I realized that the jet is mounted on a stand on the ground, not actually flying as I first thought, thanks for a really helpful note.

Good POV and I'm glad you went with B&W for this one.

The frame, however, is not so good. More work needed there, I think.

Hmm, si eu care ma miram eu cum ai montat o camera pe stabilizator la un MIG in zbor... And you laughed about my photo being "almost vertical" ... ceau bau...

Hi Teodora

I love this photo because it made me stop and think. I could not see how you could take the picture whilst the MIG was flying. It was only after that I realised it was on the ground. The cloud below the wing really fooled me. Excellent!
