Location: Bucharest, IOR lake.
Winter. The lake in the park start to freezing.The comunity of birds stick together, and the ducks create own channels on the frozen surface of lake, like a icebreakers.What you see, is a crossroad and water chanels create by the ducks :).

Very funny picture! Duck as icebreaker... Very cold colours, photo looks like B&W.

Cristian,
I never observed this ice braking behaviour among our Swedish ducks. Maybe they feel its a hopeless task taking too much time from food finding, or maybe I need to spend more time studying them ducks.
Interesting scene well brought to us by you.

I like POV of this one. The line from the bottom leads my eyes to the group of bird abd create a good sense of depth.

Nice winter photo. I like the lines in the snow which are made by the dugs.

Well, you don't see colours, you wrote. But I see lots of them, but the all are very pale, greyish and bluish like often in wintertime. But those wintercolours are very nice here.
