The Timisoara Orthodox Cathedral (Catedrala Mitropolitană din Timișoara) is a Romanian Orthodox cathedral in Timisoara, in the Banat region, in western Romania. It has 11 towers, of which the central and the highest has a height of 90.5 meters.
The cathedral was raised between 1936 and 1941.
Cathedral, as viewed from Victory Square, is located in Cathedral Park, one of the many parks in Timisoara.
Timisoara is one of the largest Romanian cities (the third most populous city in the country, as of 2011), with a population of 319,279 inhabitants. The city is a candidate to become, in 2021, the European Capital of Culture

Hi Petar,
You really chose an excellent view here, the cathedral looks very splendid against the blue sky and set inhibits wide open park. I really like that you included this modern art work too, which in excellent contrast to the building itself and gives a great sense of this open space and it's many uses. Thanks for the note too, that main spire is an immense height! I imagine this is an amazing place to see in person.
