The POV is very good, and the nearby approach does that the details are seen very well, I like the diffuse figure of the Casino behind, the colors and the definition.

well managed light, fine sharpness and interesting DoF... the BG is very nice
interesting crop for a close compo, even if generaly you should not cut the hands of a model, here i think it's not disturbing

There's a feeling of summer music in this image, not yet quite june 21st though... The wide aperture worked very well to detach the guy and the attitude is nice and focused.

Beautifully composed with the BG nicely out of focus. Very sharp as we can see lots of detail in his face and hair. Very well done Anellise.

good idea to make a bokeh for mutiple reasons: you isolate the subjet from the background and the tilt which could have been annoying is almost not visible and not important in this way :D

Vad ca-ti place sa experimentezi:)
Un sfat de la mine: cind vrei sa simulezi "lens blur"-fiindca aici este simulat, nu este real-ar trebui sa o faci in Lab color mode si sa aplici blur doar pentru "Lighness channel". In acest mod luminozitatea este afectata, dar culorile raman la locul lor, nu o iau razna. Efectul este mult mai realistic, vei vedea.
De asemenea, observ un pic de neglijenta din partea ta in ceea ce priveste procesarea fundalului; ai aplicat probabil "Shadow/Highlights" doar pentru background dar nu ai avut grija de zona in care se intrepatrunde cu prim-planul. Este vizibil chiar si la dimensiunea asta mica a fotografiei.
In rest,numai bine:)

Dear Anellise,
From landscapes to portraits, you're doing well i have to admit.
The bokeh adds a nice and interesting blue to the man in the foreground. Playing with passion his sax with his eyes closed. The framing is tight (would like to see his whole hand) but your exposure is really excellent, just as the sharpness....well done.
