Photographer's Note

Marina, in spite of her young age, was certainly the best female dancer of all Gypsies of the Cesmin Lug Refugee camp, in Mitrovica, Kosovo.

We had organised a dancing performance for the inauguration of the school, and we had our 12 dancers group ready (you see one of them in black dress in the background). I did not know anything about Marina... until she was there, in the middle of the scene, amazing every one by her incredible energy and sensuality!

I love gypsies! They fascinate me. I am staying in India in the middle of the gypsy musicans homes.

I praise everyone documenting this culture that is fading away so quickly, and is obe of the last ones in Europe so dependent on dance and music. They should be the teachers of joy in life to spoilt civilized nations. Plus for the contrast
