Photographer's Note
In the centre of Banska Bystrica(Slovakian)/ Besztercebanya(Hungarian)/Neusohl(German), there is a roman catholic church of Virgin Mary, originally built in the 13th century (Romanesque).
It was rebuilt in the 14th, 15th and 16th century (Gothic, Renaissance details, statues, side altars).
After the church burned down in 1761 the interior gained contemporary appearance (Baroque).
So finally it became a school examle of architecture history and a unique "house of god".

ciao Jalab,
bello il POV basso con la costruzione che si staglia contro l'azzurro del cielo.
Buono il contrasto e la definizione

Thanks, jalab, for your interesting pic.
We can know about slovakian old churches... i think they are a sign of the culture of the past time, when Europe was united by the same faith.
I like them very much!
