Photographer's Note
The "Velikonočn� vaj�čka", are the painted eggs sold in Slovakia for Easter. They are the symbol of the new life (spring) after the end of the winter.
They are true craft objects, painted by hand, every one being different from the other. Here, the craftman (or craftwoman) painted some farm scenes and the spring flowers.

I wonder if in this increasing standardized society traditions like these will survive - I hope so! I prefer an imperfect man-made thing to a shiny factory replica :)
I'll go sort out my own Easter eggs now :)
