Perfect rim-lighting on that one blockling the sun. It's nice to see the beauty in man-made clouds for a change. Even though it is pollution - it proves that just about anything can be "art" in some way or another. Regards, TW

Hi David,

I like this. Those warm yellow tones make the whole image, but also your play with sunlight behind the big smoke column looks wonderful. A well though and perfect executed exposure and composition....a photo that i like.

Wow, this is a quite unusual view in these days when CO2 emissions are in the front pages of the newspapers every day.
The picture is very beautiful and the goldish glow is simply superb. The sun hidden behind the dark smoke is another wonderful element in here. Well done.

I love these industrial shots, man you have caught good old polluting going on here in Slovakia, you wouldn't see this kind of image in NZ thats for sure. The steam is shown off by the great light you have captured. Terrific tones, only slight point (could be my monitor though) is your fg starts to slightly turn a greeny yellow instead of continuing in that nicer redder yellow tone from above. Great presentation David, very well done.

Hallo, David. A very interesting and arresting scene, well composed.
I think the green area is in the shadow of the cloud of steam which has already deflected the red-gold part of the sunlight towards the camera, so there is none left for lighting the ground.
